SOB Medium
Following recipe makes 1 liter SOB Medium:
- 2% Tryptone
- 0.5% Yeast Extract
- 0.05% NaCl
- 2.5 mM KCl
- 10 mM MgCl2
Adjust pH to 7.5 with NaOH. Autoclave this solution without MgCl2, cool it to ~55C.
Then add sterile MgCl2 solution. If desired add antibiotics.
