5 M NaCl Solution Recipe

1. Dissolve 292.2 g NaCl (5 mol*58.44 g/mol) in exactly 880 ml ultrapure water.
2. Bring the volume to 1 liter with ultrapure water.
3. Sterilize by heat.

5 M NaCl is 29.22% (w/v).
